Chapter 6 - The Identity She Stole
The woman introduced herself as Clara Bennett.
Twenty years earlier, she had worked as an accountant for the Blackwood family.

Daniel stared.

“What?”
Emily asked.
Daniel looked up.
His voice was quiet.
“My father left everything to someone else.”
Clara nodded.
“Someone Vanessa thought was gone forever.”

“The original heir.”
Emily felt a chill.
“Who is she?”
Clara opened the final page.
A photograph fell out.
Daniel picked it up.
His face changed instantly.
