Losing the CEO title freed Christopher in a way Estelle had not anticipated.
He no longer needed to protect Pierce Global's public image.
He hired independent forensic accountants.
He authorized Daniel to share evidence with regulators.
He released his personal voting proxies from family control.
And he moved to formally recognize Emma as his legal daughter.
Estelle responded with fury.
“You are burning down your father's company.”
Christopher answered:
“No.”
“I am opening the windows.”
The paternity test came back two days later.
Probability of paternity:
99.9998%.
Emma Pierce was legally recognized.
The dormant Class C shares activated.
Estelle's attorneys filed an immediate challenge.
Naomi smiled when she read it.
“They're afraid.”
