The sale passed.

Helena smiled.
“Solmere survives.”
“No,” I said.
“You just voted to sell property you don’t control.”
I produced the Sovereign Clause.
Her smile disappeared.
The room exploded.
Lawyers began reading.
Gideon stared at me.
Helena remained silent.
Then she laughed.
“That clause requires proof of fraudulent concealment.”
Daniel entered.
He placed three drives on the table.
“Then you’re going to hate these.”
Deleted logs.
Altered ownership records.
Guest Zero protocols.
Payment trails.
Forged resolutions.
For seventeen minutes Helena watched her kingdom come apart.
Then one of her attorneys whispered to her.
She smiled again.
“Check your loan covenants.”
Lucas did.
His face changed.
“If control changes through fraud proceedings, the senior debt becomes immediately callable.”
“How much?”
“Eight hundred sixty million.”
“How long?”
“Seventy-two hours.”
Helena stood.
“Congratulations, Charlotte.”
