PART 3 — THE FALL OF VALENCIA

That night, Adrian made a decision.

Not as a husband.

Not as a businessman.

But as someone who had finally seen the truth without illusion.

He ordered every security recording from the estate. Every log. Every file connected to Elena’s disappearance. Every communication Victoria had ever touched.

By midnight, the pattern was undeniable.

Deleted messages. Altered timestamps. Private calls routed through hidden numbers. Financial transfers to people Elena had never met.

Proof didn’t just exist.

It was everywhere.

Victoria stood in the doorway of his study as he reviewed the files.

“So this is it,” she said softly. “You choose her.”

Adrian didn’t look up.

“I choose the truth,” he replied.

A pause.

Then Victoria laughed quietly.

“You think this will destroy me?”

Finally, Adrian met her eyes.

“No,” he said. “You already destroyed yourself. I’m just making it visible.”

The next morning, authorities arrived at the Valencia Estate.

Victoria didn’t resist.

She simply adjusted her coat, as if attending a social event, not an arrest.

As she was led away, she turned once—looking at Adrian.

There was no anger.

Only certainty.

“You can take everything from me,” she said. “But you’ll never undo what I did to protect you.”

Elena stood at the window upstairs, watching in silence.

Adrian joined her, placing a steady hand on her shoulder.

“It’s over,” he said quietly.

Elena didn’t answer immediately.

Her eyes stayed on the driveway as the car disappeared beyond the gates.

“No,” she finally whispered.

“It’s just beginning.”
