CHAPTER 3 — The Empire Fights Back

Within an hour...
Luxury cars surrounded the estate.
Police officers entered through the front gates.
Investigators photographed every bruise.
Every room.
Every hidden camera.
Every punishment log.
The evidence was overwhelming.
Evelyn's confidence disappeared.
"You can't prove anything!" she screamed.
The billionaire quietly placed a small tablet on the table.
Security footage.
Months of recordings.
She had forgotten one thing.
The old surveillance system automatically backed up every file to a private cloud account only he could access.
Video after video played.
His daughter cleaning floors.
Being slapped for dropping a spoon.
Locked inside a storage room.
Forced to kneel for hours.
Every servant cried.
Even the officers struggled to hide their anger.
Evelyn collapsed into a chair.
"It wasn't supposed to happen like this..."
The billionaire finally spoke.
"You didn't hurt my wealth."
"You hurt my child."
"There is no forgiveness for that."
She was arrested before sunset.
As police led her away in handcuffs, she looked back at the little girl.
The child didn't smile.
She didn't celebrate.
She simply walked toward her father.
Slowly...
Carefully...
As if she still wasn't sure she was allowed.
"Daddy..."
"Are you leaving again?"
He dropped to one knee.
Never taking his eyes off her.
"No."
"Not ever again."
She burst into tears.
This time...
May you like
He caught every single one.
And held her tighter than he had ever held anyone in his life.
