Chapter 4 – The Final Trap

Nathan accepted a plea agreement.

Or so everyone believed.

In reality, it was bait.

The hidden network arranged his escape during a prison transfer.

Exactly as Claire predicted.

They led him straight to an abandoned shipping terminal.

Waiting there...

was me.

Nathan laughed when he saw me.

"You think you won?"

"You exposed one businessman."

"You have no idea who owns this country."

I pressed a button.

The warehouse lights exploded to life.

Every wall became a giant screen.

The recordings from my pendant played before dozens of undercover investigators.

Nathan's own voice echoed through the building.

Ordering the lashes.

Discussing money laundering.

Naming every partner.

Every judge.

Every politician.

His face drained of color.

"You..."

"I told you," I said calmly.

"I never stayed because I was afraid."

"I stayed until every monster stood in the same room."

Within seconds, tactical teams stormed every entrance.

No one escaped.

Not Nathan.

Not his partners.

May you like

Not the men who had hidden behind wealth for decades.

The empire collapsed before sunrise.
