Someone knocked on Claire's hospital door.

He looked exhausted.

His arm rested in a sling.
"They found me."
Claire's pulse jumped.

"The footage?"
"I copied everything before removing the drives."
He plugged the flash drive into Benjamin's laptop.

Claire backing away.
Ethan advancing.
Both hands extending.
One violent shove.
The railing collapsing.
Claire falling backward.
No accident.
No stumble.
No self-defense.
