The hospital suite remained silent.
No one dared to move.
Marcus slowly unlocked his phone.
The security video began to play.
The first few seconds showed Khloe standing quietly beside the window, one hand resting protectively on her swollen belly.
She looked tired.
She looked frightened.
Then Isabella entered.
There was no greeting.
No smile.
Only anger.
The recording captured every word.
"You were never supposed to become his real family," Isabella sneered.
Khloe tried to walk away.
Isabella blocked the door.
She grabbed Khloe's arm.
Khloe begged her to leave.
Instead, Isabella shoved her.
The video clearly showed Khloe crashing into the marble table before falling to the floor.
Then came the moment that froze everyone.
Isabella deliberately lifted her heel...
...and kicked Khloe directly in the side.
Gasps echoed through the hallway.
Marcus felt the blood drain from his face.
He looked from the screen to Isabella.
"You lied to me."
His voice barely rose above a whisper.
Isabella shook her head desperately.
"It isn't what it looks like."
Marcus's eyes hardened.
"It looks exactly like attempted murder."
Before Isabella could run, the two security officers stepped forward.
Hospital Director David spoke calmly.
"No one leaves until the police arrive."
