Chapter 3:At 11:59 PM, the Billionaire Learned He Had Never Owned the Empire He Built

11:59 PM.
Marcus finally noticed something strange.
His executive phone stopped syncing.
His access badge flashed red.
He frowned.
"Probably another IT problem."
Vanessa laughed.
"They'll fix it."
Then Ethan approached.
His hands trembled.
"Sir..."
Marcus smiled.
"What is it?"
"We need to speak privately."
"No."
"Now."
Guests turned to watch.
Ethan swallowed.
"I'm afraid I can't allow you to enter the executive floor."
Marcus blinked.
"What?"
"Your access has been revoked."
The ballroom became silent.
Marcus laughed.
"I own this hotel."
"I'm sorry, sir."
"You work for me."
Ethan slowly lifted his tablet.
Displayed across the screen was a corporate directive.
Authority Suspended.
Marcus stared.
"This is impossible."
Before he could react...
His phone rang.
Board Chairman.
He answered immediately.
"What kind of joke is this?"
The Chairman answered calmly.
"You were never the owner."
Marcus stopped breathing.
"What?"
"The ownership documents have always named Harrington Global Holdings."
"I've never heard of that company."
"You were never supposed to."
The call ended.
Marcus looked around.
No one moved.
No one defended him.
For the first time in eleven years...
